Characteristics
- PIAM collective is designed for the employees of companies who have been registered with Social Security as employees or on a voluntary basis. Family members may also be covered by this policy if they are the beneficiaries.

Medical directory
The policy offers the possibility to additionally access a Medical Directory with coverage throughout Spain and over 45,000 professionals and 13,000 medical centres, including Teknon, Quiron and Dexeus. Access to this medical directory offers the insured person the convenience of not having to pay anything upfront.

Benefits
- The PIAM collective offers complementary healthcare cover of up to 100% of the real cost that the CASS does not cover, while most complementary medical policies refund a maximum of 100% of the rates payable as defined by the CASS
- The policy includes complementary cover for homeopathy, speech therapy, orthoptics (visual re-education), acupuncture, psychiatry, osteopathy and chiropractic.
- For maternity the policy provides for 100% of the actual expense accredited in the case of normal births (maximum 1,000 euros per baby).
- In the case of Caesarean births, the policy provides for 100% cover of the actual expense accredited (maximum 3,000 euros per baby) and up to 5,000 euros for newborn care per baby, plus the payment of a fixed benefit per birth (each child) of 150 euros.
- In the case of illness, injuries, congenital defects or malformations, the policy pays compensation of up to 6,000 euros per insured person during the period for which the policy is in force. Other cover of interest: optics, dental prostheses and accommodation costs for the patient's companion.
- In the case of the serious illnesses included in the policy and up to the age of 65, compensation of up to 10,000 euros is payable.
- Best Doctors, a second medical opinion: this service enables the patient to compare a first diagnosis with the opinion of another doctor anywhere in the world.
- The maximum benefit or compensation per claim is 1,000,000 euros.
- In the event of the death of the insured (between 18 and 65 years old), the PIAM collective pays the beneficiaries compensation of at least 10,000 euros; in the event of death by accident, 20,000 euros; and in the event of death due to a traffic accident, 30,000 euros.
